Since 2000, the Orfalea Foundations have supported high-quality nonprofit programs that further our vision to promote healthy development and build skills for success in learning and in life.
Committed to improving and enriching early childcare, educational programs, and other community services, the Orfalea Foundations actively seek innovative and effective programs that meet our goals to assist underserved populations in our community.
Based in Santa Barbara, California, our support is concentrated in the tri-county region of Santa Barbara, Ventura, and San Luis Obispo.
As a significant component of our local giving, the Orfalea Foundations regularly encourage local nonprofit organizations to collaborate and develop strategic partnerships. By emphasizing cooperation between different agencies with similar goals, it is our hope to continually increase the efficiency of our own grant-making and maximize the philanthropic impact of our collective efforts.
