Philanthropic Impact
The Orfalea Foundations primarily support nonprofit organizations and programs in our programmatic initiatives: s’Cool Food, Aware & Prepare, The Outdoor Classroom Preschool Project and Montana Yellowstone Expeditions. We continue to provide support in a more limited capacity within our four foundation areas of focus: Early Care, Education, Youth Development, and Critical Community Needs, as well as investing in programs that match these focal areas and have substantive value, promote healthy development, and build skills for success in learning and in life.
We concentrate our attention first and foremost on the geographic region of Santa Barbara County and to a lesser extent Ventura, and San Luis Obispo Counties. To a very limited extent, we are also involved with some statewide and national programs.
