MYE | REACH

MYE Explore Program

The REACH program (formerly known as MYE Explore) is an experiential education program for motivated high school students from the Central Coast of California that prepares students to be leaders in their community. REACH works with students to build life skills that prepare them to fulfill their potential in education and success for the future.

Students are accepted during their sophomore year in high school and remain in the program for 4 years, generally through their second year of post secondary education. Students begin their program by participating in a summer of adventure education full of backpacking and canoeing. Then, during the school year, students participate in programming that focuses on skill building opportunities in post secondary education and career exploration, outdoor adventure education, food and financial literacy, personal development, and community involvement.

By participating in this program, students are committing to themselves, their families and this program that they are willing to put in the time and energy to explore their potential and strive for achieving their goals.
